“The barbarians are at the gates. Take heart!”
Feed the Beast is a revue compiled by Alan Pearce from some of my poetry and song lyrics and staged by Pearce at the Amos Eno Gallery in New York. Erica Lindsay and Francesca Tankersley composed and recorded the music. Alan has dropped out of sight, even of the omniscient eye of Google. If anybody out there knows of his whereabouts or fate, please let me know.
The beast itself is in hibernation, although it can likely be coaxed awake with not much hassle but with reputed risk.
“The beast is prowling through the street.
Feed the beast with rock and roll!
The beast wants living human meat.
Thrill your body, fill your soul!”
